That is the best short story ever!!! Nicki, you have a habit of making me laugh out loud at work/school. It exemplifies the reason why I love Science fiction - to see the human condition in a completely different way.

Oddly enough, I keep returning to this post and re-reading this story. For some reason it comforts me about humanity.
